“Healthy Menu” Extra Edition from THE MARINERS’ DIGEST Now Available

The Japan Shipping Exchange, Inc.(JSE) publishes THE MARINERS’ DIGEST, a quarterly English-language magazine for seafarers serving on Japanese merchant vessels.
In order to maintain healthy dietary life on board, the magazine has featured the “Healthy Menu” series since 2020. Each issue highlights one type of vegetable and introduces two simple and delicious recipes along with information on its nutritional benefits and optimal storage methods.

This time, JSE has compiled 20 installments of the series (a total of 40 recipes) into one PDF book, and open the contents in free of charge. Users see the recipes on the websit whenever they want. The collection includes a wide variety of recipes — not only Japanese dishes but also Chinese-style, Korean-style, and Italian-style — so that seafarers of various nationalities can enjoy them.
JSE hopes this book will be a useful resource for promoting healthy living on board.
